CONSPIRACY THEORY: Finally A Rational Discussion - Drive With Dave Ep. 10

Are conspiracies real? Which are true and which are just plain crazy? On this drive I share my thoughts on conspiracy theory. I define the term conspiracy via a legal dictionary, a sociological dictionary, and compare it to what most people incorrectly assume about conspiracy research, or conspiracies in general. I then share my theory on what I think the real "conspiracy" actually is, and how understanding how the elite criminal mind works is indeed relevent to what is taking place in our current time. I get into how globalism is a religion, and how the true global conspiracy is far bigger than isolated events like assassinations, banking scams, left vs right, communism vs capitalism, religion vs religion etc. I define the difference between globalism and globalization to clear up some common misunderstandings, and discuss the "global conspiracy" from the persepctive of the conspirators themselves who are on record. Why Your Teens Are Unhappy/ Martial Arts Can Save Your Kids - Truth Warrior Ep. 14

This episode was Facebook Live where I talk about the benefits of martial arts on mental health, I discuss a study that analyzed data from a nationally representative survey of eighth-, 10th- and 12th-graders that’s been conducted annually since 1991.

Every year, teens are asked about their general happiness, in addition to how they spend their time. The study found that teens who spent more time seeing their friends in person, exercising, playing sports, attending religious services, reading or even doing homework were happier. However, teens who spent more time on the internet, playing computer games, on social media, texting, using video chat or watching TV were less happy.

In other words, every activity that didn’t involve a screen was linked to more happiness, and every activity that involved a screen was linked to less happiness. The differences were considerable: Teens who spent more than five hours a day online were twice as likely to be unhappy as those who spent less than an hour a day.

In Defence Of Christmas - Drive With Dave Ep. 08

On this drive I defend Christmas, and do a topical opinion piece on the Christmas controversy. I talk about the PC culture and how the term "Christmas" has now become a politcally incorrect/offensive term for some, and is completely demonized as "satans holiday" by others, and yet despiite this, the cultural holiday unique to the west is still loved and appreciated by many in their own unique way. Including Me.

I share a few personal stories, and some ideas I have come across about the origins of christmas, and chat about the variety of different cultures that celebrate the same time of year with differing mytholgies and slightly different dates, and how many of the core ideas central to this european tradition are unique in some aspects, and fairly universal in others. 

I will soon do a podcast episode covering this subject in a more detailed manner, but this is just a fun look at my personal take on the holiday that I have loved since I was a little dude.

The Way Of Individuation In A Collectivised World

In this episode I start this talk about the current socio-politcal debate on individual rights, free speech, globalism. I then go into some ideas from Jung about the process of Individuation as he termed it, and compare it to the founding principles of western civilzation and America at its birth. I attempt to bring it all back to the healthy development of the individual in society, comparing with the likes of Tesla, Jobs, Bruce Lee, and many other influentail world changers. Given the current discusion happening in the media and in academia these days, I break down the quote from John W. Gardner: 

"The creative individual has the capacity to free himself from the web of social pressures in which the rest of us are caught. He is capable of questioning the assumptions that the rest of us accept."

and discuss the idea expressed here and how important it is to pursue a path of self realization and individuation in our increasingly collectivised/globalised world.
